Guess who is going to the World Duathlon...
Team TrySports is sending three of our own the the World Duathlon Championships. Chris Lamperski, Cody Angell, and Aubrey Aldy will be representing the team. More details to follow.
Team TrySports Posts More Victories...
The TrySports running team continues to rack up some amazing results... The Waxhaw 5k on April 24th saw Mo Campbell and Jinnie Edwards go 1-2 in the womens race, with Bill Shires also taking 2nd in the mens race. The next day at the CPCC Skyline 5k, Kylee Schuler took 2nd in the womens race.
Also...
Team TrySports also posted two more victories on May 2nd. Andy Guthe won the Category 5 cycling race at the Dilworth Criterium, while Stephanie Hucko won her age group (women's 35-39) at the Whitelake Triathlon. Congratulations to them and all the Team TrySports team members who raced over the past few weeks...
Our Newest Team Member
Take the opportunity to meet TrySports' newest running team member and Believe-Achieve ambassador Daniel Kanyaruhuru. Not only is Daniel an amazing runner, but his story is one that is a shining example for our Believe - Achieve motto. To read an article published in 2007 on Daniel's story please CLICK HERE.
Daniel will finish his degree in education this May from Queens University of Charlotte. He's a top 25 US talent and has won multiple national titles. He has aspirations of being a professional runner and also a French teacher.

In 2002, Spencer Lueders set his spokes on a three-mile stretch of North Carolina roadway nicknamed the "Booty Loop". While he set out alone, it didn't take long for friends, family and community members to join in with the cyclist and his 24-hour charitable mission. He rode 312 miles in 24 hours. He raised $6,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation that year. He started a movement. He started 24 Hours of Booty, the nation's only 24-hour charity road cycling ride. This years event is scheduled for: Charlotte, NC- July 24-25th 2009 7pm-7pm
Since that year, 24 Hours of Booty has raised millions for cancer causes, becoming the official 24-hour ride of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. 24 Hours of Booty is changing lives, one mile and one dollar at a time. It can change yours. As of May 1st, we have raised $1,585.

Team TrySports is committed to supporting racing at all levels. Consistent with our mission, we intend to support athletes committed to the time and energy it takes to race at higher levels. As a racing team, the support provided for these racers will create greater representation for our team and sponsors at local and regional events. As we enhance our visibility and status as a team we give back to our members, community, and sponsors.

Our Market
Team TriVelo will target the Metrolina & Low-County, and coastal regions of the Carolina’s in road racing, triathlon, time-trialing, & running disciplines. As the TrySports organization grows to other parts of the Carolinas including Raleigh and Wilmington, so will our reach and our team program.

The four main goals of the 2009 structure are focused on our commitment to:

~Supporting racing at all levels
~Creating a support system to help maximize ones abilities

Located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina & Charlotte, Wilmington and Raleigh, North Carolina, provides a comprehensive range of products and services in the aerobic sports of running, walking, swimming, cycling, gym fitness and triathlon. Our mission is to share our passion for health and fitness with our customers. TrySports communicates to thousands of fitness consumers through their e-News and in store newsletter, in addition to their frequently visited website. They are an active participant in the Carolina's.
